other areas including Jakarta also many traders who sell Rawon with the name
Rawon Setan. But Rawon Setan was first established by one of the traders in
Surabaya. Rawon Setan is very famous and became the first culinary place in
Surabaya. The origin of the word "Setan" itself because the first Rawon
stall is new open the night at 22:00 until early morning. Operating hours are
considered to be the same as the demons that appear at night. But now Rawon Setan
has started open since morning from 07.30 - 22.00 WIB for Sunday to Tuesday,
and 07.30 - 03.30 for Wednesday to Saturday.
